October 3, 2007 - Dr. Louis Potters, MD, FACR, is pleased to announce his appointment as chairman of radiation oncology at North Shore University Hospital and LIJ Medical Center. NS-LIJ has made great strides toward providing patients with the most advanced cancer care available, and Dr. Potters appointment will further strengthen the oncology services.
Within the next year, the NYPI will be reborn as a multi-departmental clinic with Urology and Medical Oncology. Stay tuned for details.
Dr. Potters will assume his new position on October 22nd, 2007 and will see patients at both North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and at Long Island Jewish Medical center in New Hyde park.
